    The ECULC is committed to developing our industry's next generation of leaders. The mentorship program was created to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary to excel in the credit union industry leadership roles.

    • Participants will experience positive behavior changes, including increased confidence, improved communication skills, and enhanced professionalism.

    • Participants will expand their knowledge and acquire practical skills, equipping them for career progression and growth.

    • Participants will broaden their professional network, fostering valuable connections that support their career growth.

    • Enhanced Engagement and Advocacy: Participants will deepen their commitment to the CU movement.

    • Diversity and Inclusion: Our participant pool will be diverse, ensuring representation and inclusion of underrepresented groups.

  • Mentors

    Our pool of mentors will come from a select group of past ECULC presenters and our CU network. These mentors will have a proven track record of leadership and a commitment to nurturing emerging talent within the CU movement.

    By tapping into this exclusive network of mentors, we aim to provide mentees with invaluable guidance, industry-specific insights, and support tailored to their unique career aspirations.

  • Program Details

    FEES AND EXPENSES

    The program participants will not be charged any fees, as it is included in the annual dues.

    The program will take place in 2024, with the first session beginning in January and ending in May. Participants in the program, including mentors and mentees, will be expected to commit to the following time requirements:

    • Completing the CliftonStrengths© Assessment, which will take approximately 30 minutes

    • Attending the Program Orientation, which will take approximately 45 minutes

    • Scheduling of 5 mentor sessions every 3-4 weeks, each lasting approximately 1 hour

    • Participating in the Program Wrap-Up, which will take approximately 45 minutes

    The expected time commitment for the program is approximately 7 - 8 hours.
